Every web design project follows the same seven steps. Some take a week, some take six — depending on the project — but the sequence is consistent.
1. Strategy session
Free, thirty minutes, no obligation. We talk through your business, your goals, your audience, and what your current website is or isn’t doing. No slides. No pitch deck. An honest conversation about whether we’re a good fit.
2. Brief and proposal
If we’re a fit, we put together a proper brief — what the site needs to do, the structure, the content scope, the timeline, the price. No surprises later.
3. Design
We design the site to spec — clean, modern, on-brand, conversion-focused. You review key pages early so the direction is locked in before we get deep into building.
4. Build
The site is hand-coded as a custom WordPress theme. Custom fields are set up so you’ll be able to edit content yourself once it’s live. Mobile and desktop layouts are built in parallel, not bolted together.
5. Content
Content is loaded into the site — usually copy you’ve already written or that we’ve drafted as part of the project. We handle the layout, the imagery, the SEO meta tags, the structured data. You review and approve.
6. Launch
Final testing, redirects from your old site, Google Search Console submission, analytics setup, performance and security checks. The site goes live, and you get a quick training session on how to edit it yourself.
7. Ongoing management
Every site we build is hosted on our infrastructure with managed updates, backups, security monitoring, and ongoing support. We don’t hand you a finished site and disappear — we look after it for as long as you want us to.
