Privacy Policy

Digital Attraction Pty Ltd (ABN 32 151 324 908) takes your privacy seriously. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, what we do with it, and what your rights are.

What we collect

When you contact us through the contact form, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number (if you provide it)
  • The message you write to us
  • Any information you choose to share about your business

When you browse the site, we automatically collect:

  • General usage information through Google Analytics — pages visited, time on page, broad geographic location, device type. This is aggregated and anonymised.
  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) as part of normal hosting operations.

We do not use tracking pixels for advertising. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with marketing partners.

What we do with it

The information you give us is used to:

  • Respond to your enquiry
  • Follow up if it’s relevant to do so
  • Keep records of our communications, as required for Australian business and tax law

Analytics data is used to understand how the site is performing and where we can improve it. It is never matched back to individual identities.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are retained as part of our business records for seven years, in line with Australian tax and business law. After that, they’re deleted.

Analytics data follows Google Analytics defaults (14 months for granular data, longer for aggregated reporting).

Who we share it with

Nobody — except:

  • Where required by law (court orders, tax audits, lawful requests from law enforcement)
  • The minimum third-party services we need to run the business: Google Analytics (anonymised), our email provider, and our hosting provider. None of these have access to your form submissions for marketing purposes.

We do not sell your information. Ever.

Your rights under the Australian Privacy Principles

You have the right to:

  • Ask what information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct anything that’s wrong
  • Ask us to delete your information (subject to our legal record-keeping obligations)
  • Complain to us if you think we’ve mishandled your information
  • Complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) if you’re not satisfied with our response
