Nicholas Ricciuti — Nic — is Monash University educated and has built ventures across some of the most varied industries in Australia: publishing, international education, telecommunications, career development, and now digital marketing. The career arc isn't accidental. Each step contributed something specific to the way Digital Attraction works today.
Publishing
Nic spent years managing print media operations and publishing businesses — learning how editorial teams build audiences, how subscription economics work, and how content drives loyalty over time. The publishing background is why Digital Attraction thinks about content the way it does: not as a marketing afterthought, but as the substance that earns audience attention and rewards long-term investment.
International Education
Nic managed dual-accreditation education programmes between UK, US, and Australian institutions in mainland China — operating across three educational systems, multiple cultures, and complex regulatory environments. The international education work taught him how to build trust at distance, how to communicate clearly across cultural and language gaps, and how to operate in high-stakes environments where credibility matters more than slick marketing.
Telecommunications
Nic led recruitment and rollout teams for optical fibre broadband infrastructure — large-scale technical operations where coordination, planning, and patience were the difference between projects that worked and projects that didn't. The telco experience is why Digital Attraction takes infrastructure seriously: hosting, technical SEO, site security, the foundations that most marketers ignore until something breaks.
Career Development
Before Digital Attraction, Nic founded Reinvent Your Career — a major employer branding platform that hosted career expos across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, connecting employers with mature-age career changers. He coined the term VQ (Vocational Intelligence) — a new framework for career aptitude assessment — and published one of Australia's largest career sites for young women, attracting more than 20,000 subscribers nationally.
